The Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 150/85-Tr VE.Can updates the BlueSolar MPPT 150/85 with built-in Bluetooth connectivity and both VE.Can and VE.Direct communication ports. This has multiple advantages including:

• Saves space and cost over a separate Bluetooth dongle
• Allows Bluetooth access when the VE.Direct port is used to connect to a GX device
• Easy to connect in an existing VE.Can or VE.Direct installation - no more guessing which model to purchase!

The SmartSolar 150/85 is appropriate for controlling up to 1200W of solar panels at 12V, 2400W at 24V, 3600W at 36V, or an impressive 4800W at 48V nominal battery voltage, with a hard limit maximum PV open circuit voltage of 150VDC; we strongly recommend a maximum design array VOC of 135VDC to ensure that the input voltage limit is never exceeded. The unit will automatically select between 12V, 24V, or 48V on the output so long as the installation is performed as directed; 36V charging must be manually configured through the VictronConnect app.

This unit is also equipped with a display port to which the optional SmartSolar Pluggable Display may be connected, allowing you to view the state of the controller at a glance!

The SmartSolar 150/85-Tr VE.Can solar charge controller can be connected right out of the box and a rotary switch lets you choose between 8 preset battery profiles. For more extensive configuration and monitoring, connect to the unit using the free VictronConnect app on your smartphone or tablet. Being able to access 30 days of history including daily yield and the amount of time spent in each charge stage, as well as dial in your desired charge profile to the 1/100th of a volt, can be invaluable for managing your energy collection and use.

•  The Victron Energy Cerbo GX + GX Touch 50 Accessory Screen kit, which can also connect to Victron battery chargers, inverters, and battery monitors.

•  The MPPT Control remote, a dedicated monitor/control for all current Victron MPPT controllers with a VE.Direct port.

•  The VE.Direct to USB Adapter, which can connect Victron MPPT controllers with VE.Direct ports to a Windows or Mac PC using the VictronConnect desktop app for your device.

Outstanding maximum efficiency exceeds 98%, with no cooling fan needed. Full output current up to 40°C (104°F). Internal temperature sensor compensates absorption and float charge voltages for temperature. Electronic components are resin encapsulated to protect against the elements.
