The Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 150/70 updates the BlueSolar MPPT 150/70 with built-in Bluetooth connectivity. This has multiple advantages including:
  • Saves space and cost over a separate Bluetooth dongle
  • Allows Bluetooth access when the VE.Direct port is used to connect to a GX device

The SmartSolar 150/70 is appropriate for controlling up to 1kW of solar panels at 12V, 2kW at 24V, 3kW at 36V, or an impressive 4kW at 48V nominal battery voltage, with a hard limit maximum PV open circuit voltage of 150VDC; we strongly recommend a maximum design array VOC of 135VDC to ensure that the input voltage limit is never exceeded. The unit will automatically select between 12V, 24V, or 48V on the output so long as the installation is performed as directed; 36V charging must be manually configured through the VictronConnect app.

This unit is also equipped with a display port to which the optional SmartSolar Pluggable Display may be connected, allowing you to view the state of the controller at a glance!

Being able to access 30 days of history including daily yield and the amount of time spent in each charge stage can be invaluable for managing your energy collection and use.

The controller can also connect to:

Outstanding maximum efficiency exceeds 98%, with no cooling fan needed. Full output current up to 40°C (104°F). Internal temperature sensor compensates absorption and float charge voltages for temperature. Electronic components are resin encapsulated to protect against the elements.
