Our marine-grade battery cables are available by the foot in red or black; also available in 100' spools!

Our tinned copper high-strand battery cable is manufactured in the USA specifically for marine use, with each strand tinned for corrosion resistance and finely stranded for flexibility. The PVC insulation resists chafing, salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, and diesel fuel. Meets all US Coast Guard requirements for commercial craft, as well as ABYC standards and recommendations; this is also the high-strand wire type specifically required by Victron Energy and many other global manufacturers for connection in high-current DC applications.

All sizes are AWG (American Wire Gauge), which is larger than SAE measurements. One of the interesting features of AWG is that the total conductor area is measured, whether it is a solid wire or stranded. So a stranded wire will have a larger diameter than a solid one, to accommodate the air spaces between the strands.
