Adhesive lined shrink tubing, often referred to as dual-wall, contains a layer of heat-activated adhesive on the inside that seals the connection against moisture and contaminants, to prolong the life of the connection. It is excellent for marine and automotive use, and is abrasion-resistant and flame-retardant. With a 3:1 shrink ratio, it can easily be slipped over connectors for both new assemblies as well as repairs of damaged wires. Using a larger tube with greater shrink will give a thicker wall for best protection.

Tubing comes in 1' lengths. Expect to use 1-1/4" to 2-1/4" for each cable lug, depending on wire size.

We recommend the following sizes for battery lugs:

• Shrinks to 1/3 the original size
• Thick adhesive inner wall protects against moisture and contamination
• Flame retardant
• Shrink Temperature: 248° (120°C)
• Continuous operating temperature -67°F (-55°C) to 230°F (110°C)
