Customer Service

Ordering:
Order via this web site or by phone at 619-320-5899. We're here to help, so please call us if you have any technical questions, or if you'd just like to discuss your order with us. We're in San Diego, CA, and generally answer from 9 am to 5 pm Pacific time. We can get busy at times, but if you leave a message we promise to call you right back.

Shipping:
Domestic shipping methods:
- FedEx: Ground, 2-day, Overnight (shipped from our facility)
- UPS: Ground, 2-day, Overnight (shipped from some distributors)
- USPS: First Class, Priority Mail, Priority Express
- Truck freight for large/heavy items and most refrigerators 

International shipping methods:
- USPS Priority and Priority Express Mail
- DHL
- FedEx International
- UPS International

Items shipped to the lower 48 states from our San Diego, CA warehouse generally go via FedEx, and we usually use U.S. Postal Service to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada. Some items are shipped directly from our distributors, who might use other carriers.

Some items can only be shipped via ground transportation, and will be marked as such in the description.

There are places we won't ship to, but not many, and you're probably not there anyway. But we gladly ship almost everyplace else you're likely to be - drop us a line if you have any questions.

Payment:
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover, as well as checks and even cash. Orders paid by personal or business check are subject to a five-day hold, or one day for a cashier's check on a national bank.

Returns:
Returns within 30 days are subject to a 15% restocking fee, provided the product is unused and in the original packaging. Electrical components that have not been installed may be subject to an additional 5% fee for testing. Electrical components that have been installed are not returnable. We reserve the right to refuse any item that is not in "as new" condition. The customer must pay shipping costs. We may change this policy at any time. In the event the error was ours, we will of course cover all shipping costs and there will be no other fees. Contact us for a return authorization number and shipping instructions.

Privacy:
There is an in-depth privacy policy elsewhere, but the bottom line is that we're in the boat parts business. We're not in the business of selling anyone's personal information. Your transaction data - but not your credit card info - resides on our servers, and on our servers only. Your online credit card transactions are handled by our bank's secure payment site, and we do not see the details. In the event that you give us payment information by phone, we destroy that info as soon as the transaction is processed.
